Installed this plus two Infinity Reference door speakers, two Infinity Kappa rear deck speakers, Sony head unit into my son's '06 Mustang. It absolutely will destroy you. Clean and clear and bass that lifts you off the seat. You can spend alot more if you want to impress people with the receipts, but this combination worked well for us. We both listen to bass-heavy metal and if you put on RATM 'Killing in the Name'-it nearly peels the skin off your head. I opted for the 10" so that it would possibly hit a little harder and not be so boomy and stay crisp and this unit does the trick. This is not for competition, and who could listen to real music at those levels in an enclosed car? This setup will please you and I got most everything here on Amazon with free shipping before Christmas, so I assume the deals are still out there. Have fun and put it in yourself-check the internet forums for your vehicle and there are tons of installation tips and videos and diagrams to guide even the most inexperienced. Be sure to use good quality power cables and audio cables to the subwoofer amp (the MTX does not come with any install kit like some others)-you will be sorry soon when cheaply made cables either self-destruct when you pull them under carpeting, etc,-or later wear through and short out the system. I used 8 gauge cable for the power and I believe the kit I bought at Frys was $29.99 for the power and audio cables and inline fuse made by Monster. Good luck. I rated this a four and not a five only because someone will think I'm no 'audiophile' or that I've never heard a top-end system simply because I chose a less-expensive way to outfit my son's car. I just choose to use my money wisely. Believe me, this setup rivals any I've heard in over fifty years of rocking my old ears.

these subs are redic. they hit harder then my friends mtx terminators nd hes pushin a 1200 watt amp. this whole package is so worth it. i had gotten them installed by best buy and i was so shocked how loud nd how gud the bass was. on volume 5 the whole truck shakes nd my rear view mirror about to fall off. im so pleased with these subs and im never gunna be upgrading. DEFF BUY THESE YOU WONT REGRET IT!!

I ordered these subs from "The Deep Discount" via Amazon - thanks to Amazon for making it easy for International buyers to shop with no hassle A+++++ unlike other stores which only accepts U.S credit card. Anyhow, back to the review: I purchased the subs for $177+ and recently got them in Belize. at first, i was skeptical as not much images was shown etc, so I took leap after contacting the seller and I'm very please with my purchased . . . i love these subs and for the price you cannot go wrong. I used my own amp 600watts Lanzar Vibe and it pushes my subs better than the amp in the box but if you're with a budget you can't go wrong either. these subs gives you a clean bass and great value for your money.I'll be uploading a few images of the speakers for those who would like to see the speakers, magnet etc. which would have been helpful - to me it is when buying.

Review by Chris : Needs a bigger Amp

I bought these to install in a '98 Ford Ranger ext cab. They sound really good. The only drawback is that the package does need a bigger amp or 4 ohm single voice coil speakers instead of 8 ohm. With this combination the total power that the amp puts out is maybe 200 watts max. Both subs are 8 ohm's and wired in series so that the total is only 4 ohms. I hooked this up with a 2 farad capacitor that i bought on here at the sametime and have had no issues with it overheating since the amp doesn't have to work as hard. For the money you really can't complain. I do recommend using at least 8 ga. wiring at the very least for the install.

I bought this for my 2005 Nissan Murano about 4 months ago and am very pleased. It costs much less than any comparable items I looked at, and sounds great, hits real hard and is very loud. Definitely a great buy.

if you just want a system that puts out the propen amount of bass to match your pre owned sterio than this set up of amp and subs will match it ... i dont have any trouble with mine and it sounds fine ... but... if you are looking to make your car shake and your neighbors to hear it ..... you will need to grab a little more power of an amp... but as i say if you just want a nice sound... this will play your tunes

A brand new dual subwoofer in Canada starts from 300 and goes up, rarely including an amp with the mix. The subs at these price were absolutely mind blowing. I went to the states and picked these badboys up. lemme tell you. These things here shatter walls. I'm riding on 50% total power and it's disgusting. There comes to a point where anything beyond you drown out the mids and highs from your 4 speakers and feel nothing but vibrations. TBH i thought one woofer wouldnt be enough but there comes a moment and time where I think to myself that it probably would be. I also don't understand what people are trying to achieve by needing more power than what is provided. Many of the reviews here said that the amp was weak and whatnot. Imo theyre not. For a budget system it deserves a 5 stars, hands down.Ive set this system in a 99 corolla. It was hard finding a space for the amp (didnt want to plant it on the enclosure, didnt want to drill holes in the metal framing) so i just velcro'ed it to the floor/carpet in the trunk. The subs fit snugly in the trunk and still have enough room to shove some items in there. Also I ordered a capacitor just in case but didnt end up using it since I didnt experience dimming of any kind. On a last note I used an 8-gauge cable as opposed to the 10 recommended by Magnum and it works plenty well. ( For those who dont know lower gauge = thicker cable. But the gauge only speaks of its thickness, not its composition)5/5Buy these and enjoy them for what they are. These were my first and I love them to death.

I purchased this because it was an all in one package and it was cheap. When I received it I took it to the stereo shop and they said that this amp will not work with the subs and wanted 150$ to install so I walked away. I then took it to best buy and for them to install and mount amp and install subs it came to 100$. After they were done it turned out great and I love the subs. I have had it for only two days now but I have had no problems at all and I hope it stays that way. As of now I would definitely recommend these just because if you want to buy and amp and subs from best buy or a stereo ship it would cost you around 350 and the cheapest and that's without installation. I also purchased the Boss KIT-2 Complete 8 Gauge Amplifier Installation Kit which best buy used to install it with, which saved me about 65$.

I bought these subs expecting to get a great deal of bass compared to my tiny old sub woofer. I am very pleased with this product, they hit extremely hard and i get looks driving by people because they can hear the bass. you will definitely have to adjust all the settings on your head unit and on the amp depending on what car you drive though to get the best results. I would recommend this product to anyone who was good bass at a decent price, and I would definitely buy them all over again..

This setup was cheap and effective. Its sound is just right. If you have a mustang these subs will fit without any removal or modification, and they will sound awsome..
