I bought the 12" 1262w dual voice coil with zero expectations. Jus thought i'd try it due to the price. After wiring both sides,i was absolutely blown away. I have been messing with car audio equipment for years and have never heard a single 12 sound like this.

I didnt buy these i used to work at frys electronics and these subs hit hard. we had the l5 and l7 or course the infinity are not as loud (pretty close though), but these subs are tough. You know people turn up the volume trying to blow it since its the stores but they wont, we had a kicker amp 1000w hooked up. When people turn it up it cuts off cause the amp gets hot but wait a few mins and there good to go. I think the cones are made of some type of metal. Cause the woofer was all dented up but still bumpin hard. The bass produced by these sub are deep just have a good amp and your good to go.

I bought two of these, had them installed in my Mustang with a Kenwood Mono D amp. They're awesome sounding. I had Kenwood subs before and they were good for rap, but rock they seemed to be a little too boomy. These aren't boomy in rock at all. They just thump. They also look pretty cool in my trunk, so I really have no complaints. But then again, going from those paper 60w Shaker speakers is a huge improvement.

I have this fixed in a box in the boot of my car and a rockford fosgate amplifier is driving it.The bass is very good.The bass is solid and clean sounding-Great value for money.

i put 6 of theese in the back of my van hooked to a soundstream 6000 watt amp. BOOOOOM none of my friends will ride in the back anymore. the surrounds on theese subs are high quality rubber the terminals are a bit cheesy but that certainly didnt stop theese subs from making my front winshield shatter........................................OK today is sep 11 2011 R.I.P to to the fallen and p.i.s.s. to osama anyway I still have theese now hooked to 2 bamf 5500d amps strapped together making roughly 7000 rms watts at 1.5 ohms with 3 alternators and 2 yellow top batts. I still beat theese speakers daily. i even had a leak in my back window for a while CAUSING ONE OF THEM TO FILL WITH WATER during rain storms. i just wipe the water out (or syphon if its full) and BBOOOOOOOMMM uneventful, reliable, clean bass to this day. BUY EM ALREADY hell at this price buy one for moms minivan too

so ive done my fair share of research (keep in mind im 18, so ofcourse im going for bass) and these definitely hit. i have one connected to a kenwood kac 2704 pushing 1000 watts peak, 500 rms and they hit just right. ive gone through a mtx and a kenwood, which both blew out. infinity is still hitting strong. keep in mind that these also go lower in terms of hz, so it will catch a deeper bass response vs the kenwood which only caught about 39 hz. these are definitely a good buy, had one in my bimmer, soon to get 2 more put in my mbz. too good to be true.

I went ahead and decided on the sub and amp from INF. dont know much about them but i hope i am pleasantly surprised I gave it 5 for rt now.... lets see if these things perform cant wait to get them tomorrow and installed Sun. . will update my review after i get the sub and Inf amp in.UPDATE!!! yup this guy is a beast. have it set in parallel and it is so nice. i play alot of 4 on the floor and dubstep and this guy handle the hi hits and deep low drawn out bass. would buy again and highly recommend

I purchased a pair of these Infinity 1262W's from DiscountJungle. They appear to work fine in my old Infinity 5000 enclosures. BUT, READ the fine print before purchasing. The ad says "Factory Sealed" which implies an OEM product. I tried to register these speakers with Harmon-Kardon (Infinity's current owner) but could NOT - because the Serial Numbers had been removed from the cartons and were no-where in evidence on the units themselves (I did everything but pull the speakers apart to check this). I checked with DicountJungle (I specifically asked if these were grey, or black market goods - but got no answer to that question) - they said that there was a ONE year warranty on the speakers, per their ad (offered by DiscountJungle NOT Infinity); Infinity offers a THREE year warranty on their speakers. So I'm still not sure of the provenance of these units. They work fine (for now). They do NOT have an OEM warranty. Be aware of this prior to purchase. This should have been a 5 star review (for the product), but I've kicked it down a couple of notches because of doubts about the integrity of the vendor.

First subwoofers and amp - very pleased. Still learning bout SVC vs DVC (single/dual voice coil), wiring for diff ohms, etc...I bought two of these subwoofers and a Lanzar VIBE242 2000 Watts 2 Channel Mosfet Amplifier. The subs sound really good. I've only got one Sub hooked up now, and it pounds the mess out of my Mazda 3 so much - I may not even hook the other one up. But I'll test it out for sure :)For the price, you cant beat what I bought as a combo. If you are new to amps/woofers, do a lot of research on calculations of airspace for your "specific" subwoofer you buy, SVC vs DVC, diff ohms and wiring diagrams. YouTube has some good stuff.Overall - very pleased with these subs, would recommend..

i just got two of these installed with a Lanzar Vector 1950watt amp. and it booms soo big! not even turned up half way it drops so hard my rear view mirror cant stay in place. theres no way u will regret this buying this!.
